Lab Contribution to Blank Analysis; Can We Control It?

ABSTRACT

The requirements for field blanks listed in the drinking water methods is one thing, but the proposed MCLs of 4 ng/l are another when it comes to assuring the integrity of the collected sample and its analysis. The challenge really lies in maintaining the integrity of the materials used for the analysis of samples and field blanks. This presentation will discuss some of those challenge and the approach that we take to tackling that challenge.
