ABSTRACT

Representativeness and traceability are THE most important data quality objectives in the field.  Therefore, we cannot neglect the field aspect of the data collection process. Because the results of non-representative samples could be off by an order of magnitude and untraceable data aren’t defensible, it’s imperative the field quality system is effectively implemented to assure field and laboratory data meet the expectation of managers and the public. This talk explores why everyone wants and needs a field quality system and how NEFAP can get you there.
