SYNOPSIS

This course/webinar demonstrates that Field Sampling and Measurement Organization (FSMO) Accreditation under the TNI National Environmental Field Activities Program (NEFAP) and the Accreditation Body activities are nothing to fear. The course provides the attendee with basic information to define the quality assurance necessary for field activities to demonstrate the competency of the field sampling and field testing organization.

The purpose of the National Environmental Field Activities Program (NEFAP) is to establish and implement an accreditation program for field sampling and measurement organizations (FSMOs). This webinar explores the benefits and mechanics of FSMO accreditation under NEFAP. The first part is an overview of NEFAP and the accreditation process. The second part is a case study of a recently accredited FSMO, as presented by the Assessor and the FSMO. The last hour is question and answer forum with the three NEFAP fully recognized Accreditation Bodies and other presenters. The currently recognized accreditation bodies are: ANAB, American Association for Laboratory Accreditation, and Perry Johnson Laboratory Accreditation, Inc. Additional information on the NEFAP program is available at www.nelac-institute.org.
