Dan Angelescu is founder and CEO of Fluidion. Holding a BS in Physics from Caltech and a PhD from Princeton, he led SLB's microfluidic research as a Senior Research Scientist then joined an academic position at ESIEE Paris before launching Fluidion in 2012, with the goal to develop advanced automated water quality technologies. With 24+ years of experience in micro-technology and sensor design, Dan authored numerous articles, books, and patents and currently directs the Fluidion water quality instrumentation efforts. He loves the outdoors and mountaineering.
