Traceability of Field Measurements

ABSTRACT

The presentation will review the use of Reference Materials and Certified Reference Materials for performing field measurements. Calibration and Verification of measurements will also be discussed. Field measurement data can be used for determining conformance to regulatory program requirements or for studying the environment. When comparison is needed then traceability of the data should be part of the measurement system.
