ABSTRACT

This presentation outlines the procedures involved in collecting air samples for analytical purposes. The methods described are designed to ensure accurate and reliable results by following standardized practices throughout the sampling process. Sampling methods for OTM-50, OTM-45, TO-15/TO-12 and TO-13 will be discussed. Collection of samples to trap compounds in impingers and PUFF/XAD-2 resins will be outlined. Sampling for personal monitoring will be discussed.

Prior to sampling preparation methods of media will be discussed and clean certification of media will be discussed.

Preservation and shipping of samples will be addressed.
