ABSTRACT

Over the years, a number of mistakes, blunders, and other errors on field sampling and field measurements have resulted in unreliable data These errors are repeatable and are not uncommon. This presentation summarizes several cases in which such errors have occurred and shows the primary reason is the lack of a strong Quality Management System as described in the TNI Field Sampling and Measurement Organization (FSMO) Volume 1 Standard - General Requirements for FSMOs.
