Paul Grimmett, EPA – Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water's Standards and Risk Management Division (SRMD)
Paul Grimmett is chemist with the Office of Ground Water and Drinking Water’s Standards and Risk Management Division (SRMD), serving as Team Lead for the Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR) program within the Unregulated Contaminants Monitoring Branch. Prior to joining SRMD in 2015, Paul served as a research chemist at EPA’s Office of Research and Development for the previous nine years, working on the development and application of analytical chemistry methods for use in the environmental field. Prior to his time at EPA, Paul was a contract chemistry supervisor for an on-site EPA contractor. Mr. Grimmett received his Bachelors and Masters of Science degrees from Marshall University.
Zachery Willenberg, Battelle
Mr. Zachary Willenberg is a Senior Quality Assurance Officer supporting Battelle’s environmental business line. He is an American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Auditor and ISO-9001:2015 Certified Lead Auditor, with more than 25 years of experience with environmental field sampling, laboratory operations, and QA practices. Mr. Willenberg’s areas of experience include environmental and homeland security technology testing for air, water, and soil/sediments, national air toxics field sampling, aquatic sample collection, and laboratory operations. He is currently providing support to 5 multiyear IDIQ contracts for the EPA, is a field assessor for the National Science Foundation’s NEON program, provides quality oversight for a multiyear superfund program with multiple different field operations, is the quality lead for Battelle’s Massachusetts Water Resource Authority 30 year sampling program of Massachusetts bay, and is the current laboratory Quality Manager for Battelle’s Analytical Chemistry Laboratory in Norwell, MA which analyzes for PCBs, PAHs, pesticides, and PFAS in multiple matrices.
