TNI and ASI Announce Plans for Assessor Training

The NELAC Institute (TNI) and Advanced Systems, Inc. (ASI) have entered into an agreement by which TNI will support ASI's efforts to provide assessor training for TNI's National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) and National Environmental Field Activities Program (NEFAP). This long-term agreement will provide training courses on the following topics:
1. NELAP Assessor Training:
- Environmental Laboratory Assessments - Basic Assessor Training (3 days)
- Introduction to Performing Laboratory Assessments (2 days)
- Technical Assessor Training Asbestos
- Technical Assessor Training Inorganics - Non-Metals
- Technical Assessor Training Metals
- Technical Assessor Training Microbiology
- Technical Assessor Training Organics
- Technical Assessor Training Radiochemistry
- Technical Assessor Training Whole Effluent Toxicity
2. NEFAP Assessor Training:
- Environmental FSMO Assessments - Basic Assessor Training (3 days)
- Introduction to Performing FSMO Assessments (2 days)
- NEFAP Technical Assessor Training: Water: e.g.: Ground Water and Surface Water
- NEFAP Technical Assessor Training: Solids: e.g.; Soil, Sediments
- NEFAP Technical Assessor Training: Air, ambient and emissions
- NEFAP Technical Assessor Training: Chemical and Biological
- NEFAP Technical Assessor Training: Field Testing: Organics
- NEFAP Technical Assessor Training: Field Testing: Inorganics
- NEFAP Technical Assessor Training: Field Testing: Biological
- NEFAP Technical Assessor Training: Field Testing: Radiological
- NEFAP Technical Assessor Training: Field Testing: Ordnance
- NEFAP Technical Assessor Training: Field Testing: Geophysical
Registration for all classes will occur through TNI's Educational Delivery System at http://www.nelac-institute.org/eds-home.php. Registration for the first class to be held under this agreement, Basic Assessor Training, is now open (http://www.regonline.com/asioregon). This class will be held in Hillsboro, Oregon from February 28 through March 1, 2012. Look for additional announcements of upcoming training to be published early in 2012.
