Interim Standard for NELAP Available for Review and Vote through 2-22-2016 - Quality Systems General Requirements

The TNI Quality Systems Expert Committee has voted to approve an Interim Standard (IS) that will affect Module 2 of Volume 1 Section 220.127.116.11 of the TNI laboratory accreditation standard. A copy of the IS can be found below. A Response-to-Comments document from the Voting Draft Standard is also provided to explain the changes that went into the IS. Click the links below to download.
Note that you are only voting on the changes made in response to the persuasive comments received during the Voting Draft Standard process. The entire standard is not open for vote and comment. The changes made are clearly noted through the use of track changes in the IS document provided below. Any section of the standard that did not receive persuasive comments at the VDS stage is considered to have passed the voting process.
In accordance with SOP 2-100 (Procedures Governing Standards Development), this standard is open to a membership vote on January 8, 2016. All votes cast from the date of publication of the electronic ballot form up to forty-five (45) days after the date of its publication will be accepted. The vote will conclude on February 22, 2016. Any votes cast on or before February 22, 2016 (closing date) will be reviewed and considered by the Microbiology Expert Committee.
