The TNI Laboratory Proficiency Testing Expert Committee has voted to approve Interim Standards (ISs) that will affect Volumes 3 and 4 of the TNI laboratory accreditation standard. A copy of the ISs can be found below. A Response-to-Comments document from the Voting Draft Standards are also provided to explain the changes that went into the ISs. Note that you are only voting on the changes made in response to the persuasive comments received during the Voting Draft Standard process. The entire standards are not open for vote and comment. The changes made are clearly noted through the use of track changes in the IS documents provided below. Any section of the standard that did not receive persuasive comments at the VDS stage is considered to have passed the voting process.
In accordance with SOP 2-100 (Procedures Governing Standards Development), this standard is open to a membership vote on March 22, 2016. All votes cast from the date of publication of the electronic ballot form up to forty-five (45) days after the date of its publication will be accepted. The vote will conclude on May 4, 2016. Any votes cast on or before May 4, 2016 (closing date) will be reviewed and considered by the Laboratory Proficiency Testing Expert Committee.
