Voting Draft Standard for NELAP Available for Review and Vote through 10/15/2017

The TNI Chemistry Expert Committee has voted to approve a Voting Draft Standard (VDS) that will affect Volume 1, Module 4, Clauses 1.5.2.1.1, 1.5.2.1.3, 1.5.2.2, 1.5.2.2.1, and 1.5.2.2.2 of the TNI laboratory accreditation standard.
NOTE: All sub-clauses of 1.5.2 are presented in the VDS for readability, but only the 5 sub-clauses listed above are available for vote and comment. The Chemistry Committee's proposed changes from the 2016 standard are shown through tracking.
Note that you are only voting on the changes made in response to the persuasive comments received during the standard development process. The entire standard is not open for vote and comment. The changes made are clearly noted through the use of track changes in the document provided below.
In accordance with SOP 2-100 (Procedures Governing Standards Development), this standard is open to a membership vote on September 1, 2017. All votes cast from the date of publication of the electronic ballot form up to forty-five (45) days after the date of its publication will be accepted. The vote will conclude on October 15, 2017. Any votes cast on or before October 15, 2017 (closing date) will be reviewed and considered by the Chemistry Expert Committee.
