In 2012, TNI launched its new Educational Delivery System (EDS), a comprehensive training system that utilizes various face-to-face and web based types of training. So far to date, TNI has supported 25 training events that have been attended by over 800 individuals. One additional training course and 3 webinars are scheduled for later this year. In addition, three webcasts are now available for you to download at any time to have a training activity at your location.

This course provides examples and a basic understanding of the assessment processes, within the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program (NELAP) framework. The basic principles for assessing environmental laboratories are presented. This webinar focuses on how the management system elements of internal audits and annual management review provide management with vital real time information and interact to form the basis for continuous improvement. Definitions will be explored as well as the different types of internal audits that may be considered and the requirements detailed in the TNI 2009 ES Standard. Responsibilities and accountabilities for meeting the standard requirements and prerequisites for conducting these activities will be presented. Some of the ways to implement effective procedures for these foundation systems, suggestions that have been implemented in real life organizations, tools to facilitate management of the records and documentation will be a strong focus and discussed.
