Modified Voting Draft Standard for the Stationary Source Audit Sample (SSAS) Program
Date Posted: 10-29-2009
TNI is pleased to announce the publication of the modified Voting Draft Standard (VDS), below, for the Stationary Source Audit Sample (SSAS) Program:
On May 15, 2009, TNI posted the VDS for public vote and comment, followed by discussion at an open meeting of the SSAS Expert Committee at the TNI Forum in San Antonio, Texas on August 11, 2009. Subsequently, the Committee reviewed all comments received and, where deemed persuasive, made modifications to the VDS. A summary of the comments received and the Committee's responses is available in the Excel spreadsheet below:
Response to Comments (XLS, 142KB)
In accordance with TNI’s Procedures Governing Standards Development, the modified VDS is now being posted for a 15-day period, ending at 12:00am CST on 11-13-2009, during which any Committee member may change his or her vote, providing written electronic notice to the Committee Chair. The vote will then be re-tallied and, in order to pass, requires an affirmative vote of at least two-thirds of the combined affirmative and negative votes cast by Committee Members. The results of the vote on the modified VDS will then be published. Finally, if the modified VDS passes, the final TNI Standard will be published.
